FOUNDATION STONE LAYING NEW MORCHEM PLANT IN FONTANAR

The foundation stone laying ceremony of the new plant that MORCHEM is building in Fontanar, Guadalajara was held last Friday, November 16th.

The event was attended by Mr. Emiliano García-Page, President of the Junta Castilla La Mancha, Ms. Patricia Franco, Minister of Economy, Business and Employment and Víctor San Vidal, Mayor of Fontanar, as well as numerous authorities.

The new Polyurethane adhesive production plant that is being built on a 30,000 m2 plot will be a modern, flexible and highly automated plant in line with Industry 4.0. in order to guarantee the highest quality requirements, as well as the future growth of MORCHEM.

This plant will be a leader in terms of environmental protection, occupational safety and hygiene and facility safety.

The plants of the Franquesas in Barcelona and Fontanar in Guadalajara are going to be complementary and can be used as back-up of one another.

The act of placing the foundation stone was a great achievement and we thank all attendees for their presence and their contribution to the success of the event.
